Cartoon Network India and Pogo India have launched their annual School Contact Programme (SCP’s), these SCP’s will teach school students about important life lessons through Cartoon Network related games, quizzes and even prizes.
The Cartoon Network and Pogo SCPs, started on Monday 3rd August 2015 and will run till mid-September and will involve one million students in approximately 1000 schools in 12 cities including Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, Chennai, Pune, Lucknow, Kolkata, Ludhiana, Hyderabad, Kanpur, Ahmedabad and Amritsar.
The Cartoon Network SCP is called “Adventure Camp” and is based on Cartoon Network’s Adventure Time animated series with the two main characters of the show, Finn and Jake. This SCP will have a sense of adventure and have a camping theme involving physical activities, mental games, sports, team building exercises and other activities.
Pogo’s SCP for this year is called “Bheem ka Fitness Formula”, this SCP is designed to make children fit and healthy like their superhero Chhota Bheem, a popular show that airs on Pogo in India. The SCP also features other popular Pogo characters such as Mighty Raju, Tom and Jerry and Mr Bean. Through this SCP kids will learn about the importance of physical and mental exercises during their daily life which will keep their brain and body active.
On Cartoon Network, viewers can win Adventure Time merchandise by taking part in the Adventure Camp competition from Monday to Friday at 4pm. Pogo is also giving out tips to be healthy during new episodes of Chhota Bheem every Sunday at 9.30am.
